Aaron Michael Smith is a composer, violist and artist based in Boston, MA. He received a Master’s in music composition from the Boston University College of Fine Arts and undergraduate degrees in music composition and viola performance at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Currently, Aaron is on the composition faculty at the New England Conservatory Preparatory School. His practice is largely spent making music for experimental films, running a multimedia art collective called field|guide, hosting a podcast on music called plink plonk, and making music in a group called grein.
